It is going to be a long day at Comic-Con so Sarah likes to sneak some time leaning on the poster tube.

We spend all day at Comic-Con and what makes Sarah smile the most? A YouTube video showing Gambit in the new X-Men movie. It really doesn't take much to please her.=)

We tried to put three streaks in Sarah's hair. Red, teal, and purple. As you can see, only one color took. It turns out I'm not too good at fixing hair.

Dirty feet are an obvious outcome of going barefoot all day. A surprising outcome: how much Sarah likes to terrorize me by randomly touching me with her feet. My girlfriend is an odd bird...

The Free Hugs signs were a lot less frequent this year. Not sure what's up with that. Maybe people smelled worse this time...

My hair dying job really was subpar. I can't even stand it when one of my shoes is not tied as tightly as the other... Sarah had to go through a week of one ponytail streaked and the other not... more on that later.

I don't have a snarky comment about this, but I did want to post a picture of someone wearing a flying toaster hat. That is pure 1990s geek style!

Phone call complete and back inside for more Sherpa duties. I know she loves me, but sometimes I wonder if she just puts up with me for my ability to wear a fully stuffed backpack for 5 days in July.=)

Not shockingly the geek crowd doesn't really make use of the smoking porches. But they do make a good place for a quieter phone call spot.

Sarah and I usually have our own language. We can see someone and make an obscure reference to a cartoon or comic character and both laugh and laugh... among geeks we had to communicate with our eyes a lot more...

I'm usually pretty hard on the annoying people forcing their flyers, ads, and other crap on you outside the convention, but look at how they dressed this guy. A sports coat and boxer briefs... well... at least he's not hot.

...too bad, because that woman's dress was totally worthy of cartoon ridicule! Another screen...
