I've just tested mine and it's happening the same with both Wordpress and Blogger.

I just made a Flickr test post in the same blog:

Is this happening to people who have been able to post pictures before? I FINALLY accessed the drop down menu to post my sites, but now can't upload my photos from flickr.

I have a blog on Wordpress, and all my pics from flicker are gone. There is just white space where the photo was and the message "This photo is currently unavailable." Then the Flickr name is in the lower right corner.
One of the photos has been totally deleted from my Flickr account. It is very safe....no notice or anything...it's just gone. The other photos are still in Flickr, but just not in the blog post.
I have a pro account......any help would be appreciated.

"One of the photos has been totally deleted from my Flickr account."
Deleted by who? Wordpress can't delete from your Flickr account, only you. Might be worth sending Staff a Help by Email request to find out when and how it was deleted.
As to the other images being "currently unavailable", that happens if you change them in any way - rotate, edit, replace. It breaks all links... Try re-blogging them to the same pages and see what happens...

Flickr can test-post to my Wordpress (2.5 now) blog, and the Blog This button works too, but photos I email to Flickr (the mail2blog address) rarely show up on my blog. If I reset the email address to use, then it works again for a couple of posts then stops working again.
Any ideas? Has been like this for a couple of months, and I hoped upgrading WP to 2.5 from 2.3.3 would fix it. It seems not.

I upgraded to WP 2.5 and ever since then I can't send blogs (or indeed insert any flickr pictures manually) to the blog.
The endpoint is correct since it picks up the right details once I enter the username, password and location of the xmlrpc.php file.
When I try to post, it throws an error.
If it's a test post it'll say:
The test post to mindwalk failed. Maybe your username and password were wrong?
They are clearly not because I entered them and it accepted them (also I am the admin of the site, I should know)
edit: flickr reports a failure, but for some odd reason the posts still show in my blog.

I can see the file exists and get:

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /joseph/xmlrpc.php could not be found on this server.
Flickr tells me i don't have a valid endpoint when i enter the URL.
Any suggestions?

Hmmm. Jumping in here. I am having a similar problem. I have used the 'upload to flick from mobile to blog' feature, which as of today seems to only work for the upload to flickr portion - but now Flickr can't connect to my blog, which hasn't changed in forever (self-hosted Wordpress 2.5). I confirmed I can publish posts on my side via WP's interface, but the external connection from Flickr seems kaput. Any ideas?

@jetrotz:
Almost the same problem I'm having. I can email from my phone to Flickr, I can Blog This from Flickr to my (now 2.5.1) Wordpress blog (so everything to do with the connection and permissions must be correct), but things I email to Flickr don't get published on my blog automatically. Or rather, they rarely do, but sometimes it works fine. It's really annoying.

Incidentally, I'm using 1&1 for my webhosting. Is anyone else suffering from the same problem also using 1&1? There are some 1&1 specific issues with things like Drupal, so I wonder if this is related somehow.

@deKay01 - I'm also on 1and1 - wonder if it's an issue there? I'm going to reach out to them and see if they have any input. I know they have been upgrading servers so there may have been a change to permissions or something.

From the 1and1 support team below. Tried this, but to no avail. As an experiment, also tried setting up Ecto (application blog editor) which also fails to connect with a 'parse error. not well formed.' message during setup. I suspect that there is a new level of PHP security on my hosts system which is causing this issue. Totally hoping someone has ideas about how to edit .htaccess to get around this, otherwise I'm completely bummed out.
>> Something is blocking XMLRPC.PHP from executing. The latest version of php seems to be blocking access to XMLRPC.PHP.
>>
>> To fix this, rename the XMLRPC.PHP file in the root of your wordpress install to something else. Rename it to XML-RPC.PHP. Then edit the file: WP-INCLUDES/TEMPLATE-FUNCTIONS-GENERAL.PHP.

OK. Call me stupid. Not sure how, but I decided to go back to basics and upload a fresh version of my xmlrpc.php file to my server. That did the trick for some reason. The version I had live on my site had this at line 16:
>> $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA = mysql_escape_string(trim($HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA));
However, the clean new version (also WP 2.3 I'm using) had the following:
>> $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA = trim($HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA);
Quite worrisome, really. No idea how that could have changed. There's a thread on a similar issue for users of Ecto that I found on this as well. wordpress.org/support/topic/168814
You can download the legacy versions of WP here: wordpress.org/download/release-archive/

Hi,
I can't blog pictures to WordPress. I used to be able to blog pix from my phone to Flickr and WordPress. Now they're only posting to Flickr. I also can't blog from the Flickr web site.
I get this error: "Your blog posting failed. If your configuration details have changed, update them now."
I've checked my domain's permissions, WordPress settings and my flickr blog config details.
Anythings else I can tweak?

jetrotz's fix worked for me. I had same line of offending code in the xmlrpc file in my Wordpress blog installation folder. I use Yahoo! Small Business to host my Wordpress blog, so I just used their file manager replace the line of code with the new code jetrotz provided, near the top of the text file (not line 16 in my case). I have no idea why it works being a complete ignoramus on how php works, but it works!!

Using WordPress 2.5.1 with my WP installed in a subdirectory, the fix that worked was to create a new .htaccess file in the WP subdirectory and include the data:

SecFilterInheritance Off
</Files>
